 The RFW’s carbide coated Stainless steel case is six times harder, for an extra durable and scratch resistant watch. With an enhanced depth rating of 10 ATM, this rugged watch  can take just about anything you throw at it. The simple, utilitarian dial features thick printed luminous numbers and indices with a white outline —and the crystal has an anti-reflective coating for extra visibility. The new quick release nylon watch strap is also a utilitarian element of this durable watch: thicker with a heavier weight, it’s more rugged, and its square weave makes it distinct from any other Shinola nylon watch strap. The carbide coating on the sandblasted, stainless steel case is so tough, it’s six times more scratch resistant. It has a 10 ATM rating—water resistant to a depth of 100 meters. The glass is an anti-reflective, double-domed sapphire crystal that’s second only to diamond in hardness.

All this durability helps protect the high-accuracy Argonite 703 quartz movement, which drives the hours, minutes, and seconds with precision.
